This is the Watercolor 2018 Day-to-Day Calendar by award-winning artist Dennis Pendleton. It's a boxed activity and craft calendar featuring watercolor. Included is everything you need to start painting right away - just add a cup of clean water for mixing your paint and cleaning your brush. You get a paint brush, paint and 150+ painting lessons. Each calendar sheet has a fun fact, completed painting to inspire, painting tip and pencil sketch for you to paint. There are 5 basic paint colors - blue, red, yellow, green and black. You may also experiment with mixing colors. I began by swatching my watercolors in order to get familiar with them and see how they react to paper, water and with the other colors in the pallet. I got the idea from the included and very useful Painting Tips sheet. As you progress you may wish to add a larger brush, more colors, masking tape and extra watercolor paper. As I move from painting to painting I keep this in mind (it's from the author) - "First and foremost...relax and have a good time while painting. Enjoy learning something from each day's exercise and don't sweat it if the final results don't meet your expectations - you have the entire year to practice!" Get your copy below!
