Most of the crate projects in this book use 12 1/2" x 18" x 9 1/2" crates. It's a standard size. Other projects use pallet wood or vintage crates. As discussed in the book's introduction, you will need to assemble some basic woodworking tools. These include things like a measuring tape, hammer, screwdriver, drill, saws, safety goggles, sandpaper, wood glue and more. I've included a few of my favorite pieces below.
