How to Draw Almost Every Day: An Illustrated Sourcebook by Kamo is a 224 page paperback released October 1, 2017 from Publisher: Quarry Books. The author, a Japanese artist living in Tokyo, shows you how to use the activities of everyday life as inspiration to create simple yet charming illustrations, journal style. The exercises begin January 1 and continue every day for a whole calendar year ending December 31 for a total of 365 prompts. Only a few supplies are needed - a sketchbook/journal, pen and markers. Or use your preferred medium. The artist used a water-resistant 0.28 mm thin, black, ball point pen and dual-tipped Copic markers in 10 basic colors - black, red, pink, orange, yellow, green, light blue, blue, purple and gold. Follow along line-by-line with the artist as she shows you how to draw by breaking down her illustrations into steps. Her style is appealing and fun. A light-hearted narrative accompanies each drawing. There are even some fun handmade project ideas for your illustrations. This title is part of the How to Draw series that includes How to Draw Almost Everything and How to Draw Almost Every Animal. Get your copy below!
