Wallpaper Origami Box Tutorial

bowl 1
I started this project with wallpaper samples measuring 8 x 10 1/4", a repeat pattern and a stripe. Any size rectangular paper will work. Then I modified a traditional origami design and the result, these charming boxes measuring 3 3/4 x 4 3/4 x 1 3/4".

A few hole punches, some green raffia and I'm done. I'm going to fill these sturdy and washable boxes with something delectable...

I prefer this box lidless. It stores flat in case your want to make a bunch. Tutorial below.

  5. I have several border papers that I think meet requirements. I can't quite envision the outcome so I will have to actually try one. I have enough to do trials!
