This gorgeous teardrop ornament designed by Rae Cooker may be found in New Ideas For Paperfolding by Gay Merrill Gross. I made it with one square sheet of 15cm handmade Japanese paper, a clip, and a red ribbon. The result, a handmade paper Christmas tree ornament 8cm in length.
The clever design is easy to fold. The chiyogami paper has a crane pattern. No scissors, glue or tape used!
That's so cute.

Origami is something that I have only done a few times in the past, but would love to start practicing more often. I think that it's relaxing and, in a way, kind of meditative. And there are so many possibilities for designs, patterns, projects, and so forth!
