Distressed Origami Box

Square Origami Box
A square origami box with a lid. The design, from Origami Boxes by Tomoko Fuse requires eight square pieces of paper, four for the top and four for the bottom. I used 15 x15cm washi chiyogami paper. This type of folding is also known as unit or modular origami. No scissors, glue or tape used!

  3. Lovely box and quite an accomplishment. I have a tough time getting a single piece of paper to fold up nicely. Getting 8 pieces to fold and fit together is quite the feat!

  5. Is it called distressed because of the visible fold lines where there are no folds? This would be great to hold special buttons.
