How to Draw Almost Every Day: An Illustrated Sourcebook by Kamo is a 224 page paperback released October 1, 2017 from Publisher: Quarry Books. The author, a Japanese artist living in Tokyo, shows you how to use the activities of everyday life as inspiration to create simple yet charming illustrations, journal style. The exercises begin January 1 and continue every day for a whole calendar year ending December 31 for a total of 365 prompts. Only a few supplies are needed - a sketchbook/journal, pen and markers. Or use your preferred medium. The artist used a water-resistant 0.28 mm thin, black, ball point pen and dual-tipped Copic markers in 10 basic colors - black, red, pink, orange, yellow, green, light blue, blue, purple and gold. Follow along line-by-line with the artist as she shows you how to draw by breaking down her illustrations into steps. Her style is appealing and fun. A light-hearted narrative accompanies each drawing. There are even some fun handmade project ideas for your illustrations.
