Sanbo Origami Boxes

Sanbo Origami Boxes

The Sanbo is a traditional origami design. Each box is made out of a single square sheet of paper. Use the tutorial below to make your own.

I learned that the Sanbo is a traditional origami design and each box is made out of a single piece of paper.

I love making origami and have made a number of pieces. My favourite was a mobile of cranes made of different colour and sizes of paper that I hung up at work. I haven't made any boxes but I would like to make one and fill it with smaller origami pieces - a bit like a Jack in the Box!
